In what has been an extraordinary few days in the world of football, José Mourinho's departure from Tottenham rather flew under the radar on Monday morning.
We have taken a look at a few names that are reportedly on Daniel Levy’s wishlist come the end of the season
Julian Nagelsmann
RB Leipzig’s Julian Nagelsmann is the 'Top' target for Tottenham Hotspurs to Replace José Mourinho.
Guiding RB Leipzig to last year’s Champions League semi-final, the 33-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most talented bosses and has even previously admitted that he turned down a move to Real Madrid back in 2019.
However, while Levy might have reportedly selected Nagelsmann as his number one candidate to take over this summer, it appears that they could face some rather stiff competition.
With Bayern Munich boss Hans-Dieter Flick announcing that he will be leaving the German giants at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
Brendan Rogers
Rogers is one of the Managers considered by Tottenham.
Guiding Leicester to a 1-0 Win against Southampton at Wembley on Sunday evening in front of 8,000 fans and reaching their first FA Cup for the first time since 1969, Brendan Rodgers has done quite the job at The King Power.
it appears that The Foxes’ coach has already ruled himself out of the race.
Speaking at his press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Rogers insisted that he has no plans of leaving Leicester at the end of the season and will not be moving to the capital.
Maurizio Sarri
While Tottenham might have seen one former Chelsea boss be swept out of the exit on Monday morning, Sarri is one of the Managers that Tottenham have their eyes on.
the 62-year-old has been out of work since leaving defending Serie A champions Juventus back in August 2020
However, much like Nagelsmann at Leipzig who is attracting other suitors, Sarri has also been heavily linked with potentially taking charge at Roma come the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
There are other managers on Tottenham's list but Julian Nagelsmann, Brendan Rodgers & Maurizio Sarri are on top of Daniel Levy’s wishlist.
